Mirrored Transformations by Asha White
Saturday, July 13th from noon-5pm
“Suspended Between Forms,” explores the intricacies of human transformation. This art activity serves as a hands-on exploration of this theme, inviting guests to engage in a visual and psychological journey of self-reflection by drawing oneself on a mirrored surface, while looking into the mirror. As participants grapple with capturing their likeness amidst the reflective surface, they are compelled to consider how external influences and internal narratives shape and transform their sense of self. Once complete, guests will transfer their mirrored self-portraits onto a shared canvas, contributing to a mosaic of distorted faces. This activity encourages guests to embrace the beauty and complexity of their ever-evolving selves, challenging conventional notions of identity and perception.
