Summer Theatre Camp for ages 7 to 13

What if Little Red Riding Hood was a cyborg? What if Hansel and Gretel lost their way on Mars? Explore these what-ifs and more. Get ready to discover new worlds by retelling classic stories with a science-fiction twist live on stage.

Camp Carnegie includes performance, hands-on art making, character design, costume construction, dramatic exercises, story writing, brainstorming, team building, problem solving, and a great deal of fun.

Each Camp Carnegie session will be a week-long, full-day camp.

Times: 9:00am to 4:00pm
Cost: $130 per participant for the week

Session 1: June 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
Session 2: June 12, 13, 14, 15, 16
Session 3: June 19, 20, 21, 22, 23
Session 4: June 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
Session 5: July 10, 11, 12, 13, 14
Session 6: July 17, 18, 19, 20, 21
Session 7: July 24, 25, 26, 27, 28
Session 8: July 31; August 1, 2, 3, 4

All camps will be held at The Carnegie located at 1028 Scott Boulevard, Covington, KY 41011
Classes will take place in the Carnegie’s Eva G. Farris Education Center. Students will be expected to bring their lunch everyday.

Cancellation Policy: A refund will be offered, less a $30 cancellation fee, if you cancel more than 14 days before the start date of your session. Otherwise, you will forfeit your tuition.

AUDIENCE ADVISORY

LANGUAGE: Sexual references, mild obscenities, and homophobic slurs.

ALCOHOL: Alcohol is consumed.

VIOLENCE: There is a boxing match in the musical.

FOR WHICH AUDIENCE: Kinky Boots is a mature musical comedy. The play is best suited for Grade 8 and up.

RATING: If it were a movie, Kinky Boots would be rated “PG-13.”
