Become a Volunteer Usher

Thank you for considering volunteering as an usher at The Carnegie. We take pride in the welcoming environment our entire team creates for our audience and are excited that you are considering joining those efforts.

As an usher, your commitments will average between two and three hours unless otherwise is indicated. You will be given guidance before any assignment, and you will be able to enjoy the shows that you decide to volunteer for. Volunteer ushers are instrumental in keeping the arts alive in Covington in a professional and friendly atmosphere.

AUDIENCE ADVISORY

LANGUAGE: Sexual references, mild obscenities, and homophobic slurs.

ALCOHOL: Alcohol is consumed.

VIOLENCE: There is a boxing match in the musical.

FOR WHICH AUDIENCE: Kinky Boots is a mature musical comedy. The play is best suited for Grade 8 and up.

RATING: If it were a movie, Kinky Boots would be rated “PG-13.”
