In partnership with Kentucky Refugee Ministries, The Carnegie will host local refugee families alongside locals to design and decorate paper lanterns and wind socks that will march alongside Little Amal in her journey through Covington and Cincinnati. These Paper Lanterns and Windsocks will be a celebration of diversity as we welcome Little Amal and those like her into our community. A celebration of where we came from and our journeys thus far.
The workshop will be held Saturday, Sep 9, 1-3 pm at The Carnegie’s Eva G. Farris Education Center
Amal Walks Across America is produced by The Walk Productions in association with Handspring Puppet Company.
