Camp Carnegie 2026: EVERYDAY HEROES

Summer Theatre Camp for ages 7 to 13.

A spark of bravery. A moment of kindness. A discovery of strength.

This summer, participants will share stories of how everyday characters inspire change through acts of courage.

Camp Carnegie includes live performances on stage, hands-on art making, character design, costume construction, back-drop creation, dramatic exercises, story writing, brainstorming, team building, problem solving, and a great deal of fun.

Camp Carnegie 2026: Session Dates

Each Camp Carnegie session will be a week-long, full-day camp.

Times: 9:00 to 4:00pm

Cost: $180 per participant for the week

 

SESSION DATES:

Session 1: June 8, 9, 10, 11, 12

Session 2: June 15, 16, 17, 18, 19

Session 3: June 22, 23, 24, 25, 26

Session 4: July 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

Session 5: July 13, 14, 15, 16, 17

Session 6: July 20, 21, 22, 23, 24

Session 7: July 27, 28, 29, 30, 31

Session 8: Aug 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

 

All camps will be held at The Carnegie located at 1028 Scott Boulevard, Covington, KY 41011. Classes will take place in the Carnegie’s Eva G. Farris Education Center.

· Space is limited. Participants cannot register for more than 2 camps.

· If needed, ask about financial assistance.

· Students will be expected to bring their lunch and a snack every day.

· Cancellation policy: A refund will be offered, less a $30 cancellation fee, if you cancel more than 21 days before the start date otherwise you will forfeit your tuition.

AUDIENCE ADVISORY

LANGUAGE: Sexual references, mild obscenities, and homophobic slurs.

ALCOHOL: Alcohol is consumed.

VIOLENCE: There is a boxing match in the musical.

FOR WHICH AUDIENCE: Kinky Boots is a mature musical comedy. The play is best suited for Grade 8 and up.

RATING: If it were a movie, Kinky Boots would be rated “PG-13.”
