Queen City Cabaret is a Cincinnati-based arts organization and musical duo that brings captivating performances of vintage jazz and pop to venues across the midwest and beyond. They are proud to be a Resident Company of The Carnegie.

Founded by professional musicians (and friends!) Sarah Folsom and Matthew Umphreys in 2018, QCC celebrates the beloved songs and stories of 20th century American commercial music with intimate cabarets, large-scale concerts, and everything in between. With their signature twist of whimsy, QCC’s expertly-curated performances are designed to take listeners on a “sentimental journey,” reviving and refreshing timeless classics from the Great American Songbook that still resonate deeply with today’s audiences.

Two Sketchy Dames is 50% Sketch, 50% Improv, 100% Fabulous. They are delighted to be teaming up again with the fabulous Queen City Cabaret!

Alison Rampa and Eileen Earnest are full of wine & funny and they are ready to perform some make-em-ups! Two Sketchy Dames is a Cincinnati based troupe that began in 2016. They have headlined at the Detroit Improv Festival and the Damn Good Improv Festival in Louisville, and performed at the Improv Festival of Cincinnati, Gatlinburg Improv Fest, and with My 4 Dads in San Antonio, TX. In 2019, along with accompanist Mike Flohr, they developed “Comedy and Cocktails” a delicious cocktail infused floor show combining songs, improv, and sketch comedy. During the 2020 season, they recorded “At Home with the Dames,” a variety show with weekly guest improvisers. The show is available to watch online through their website. Throughout the year, they perform and host at a variety of venues including comedy clubs, bars, burlesque, theatres, performing arts centers, and even backyards. Wanna hire the Dames? Of course you do! We can host your event or be a part of the entertainment, but rest assured, we will be charming and hilarious.
