
This series focuses on supporting new theatrical works created by local theatre-makers- especially works relevant to the moment or new in either content or storytelling structure. Whether it’s an immersive experience, a scripted play, an online production, or an original musical, The Creative Disruption Series will showcase what’s new from our regional artists. Individuals, groups, and small arts organizations in need of resources to take their work to the next level are encouraged to contact us.

This one-person show follows Alex Hollow, a sweet timid man who has multiple unique personalities. He’s being investigated by chief Oscar Charles Dean for the murder of a woman. Throughout this comedic thriller, we’ll see events that leads to the murder that’ll keep you on the edge of your seats while laughing non-stop.

Will Josh ever stop hogging all turkey legs?! How It Works: The Carnegie is committed to making space on its stage to enfranchise local artists working to produce original work. While this series does not offer monetary support, it does offer performance space, box office services, marketing support, access to costumes/properties, and production/technical advice. This program is for artists or groups ready to independently produce their own work, but in need of venue services at an affordable price. This series employs a sliding-scale payment structure and asks for 25% of ticket revenue to fund the ongoing development of this series.
Commitments: The Carnegie commits to paying 75% of all profits from CDS work to artists and organizations involved in our projects. This series is a structural commitment to community .
