Essence is a senior musical theatre major here at CCM. They are extremely excited and grateful to have been part of this production as their last one here. They recently spent their summer at Kings Island as a vocalist and before that, played Agwe in CCM’s 2024 prod. of ONCE ON THIS ISLAND. Essence hopes you will each find something while watching this show, that makes you feel like you are allowed to let loose and enjoy, and that you would do so no later than the start of our curtain speech ; )

Dominic is stoked to be performing in the wonderful musical SEUSSICAL. He is currently a sophomore at CCM. Past roles include Ensemble in WONDERFUL TOWN at CCM and Tulsa in GYPSY at the Scranton Shakespeare Festival.

Monique Churchill she/her Gertrude
Monique Churchill is a current junior at CCM! She feels so blessed to be surrounded by such an amazing cast and crew. She is infinitely grateful for her supportive family, friends, and faculty. Seussical is one of her favorite shows of all time and is so happy to be a part of this production! Some of her most recent roles include Alice in ALICE BY HEART, Ensemble (u/s Erzulie, Andrea) in ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, Ensemble in SWEET CHARITY, Swing in NUTCRACKER SWING. She was also Lauren in KINKY BOOTS and Ensemble (u/s Sarah Brown) in GUYS & DOLLS at the Carnegie!

Matthew Danforth Horton the Elephant
Matthew is thrilled to be returning to the Carnegie stage in this production of Seussical! He is currently a senior musical theatre major at CCM. Previous credits include: LITTLE WOMEN (Professor Bhaer), WILD PARTY (Eddie), SHE LOVES ME (Mr. Maraczek u/s), SWEENEY TODD (Judge Turpin). Nick Gundrum he/him Wickersham/Mr. Mayor
Nick Gundrum is a junior at CCM pursuing a BFA in musical theatre and a minor in business administration from the Lindner College of Business. At school, he was most recently in WONDERFUL TOWN (The Wreck/Dance Captain), SWEET CHARITY (Frug Trio/Ensemble), and SOMETHING ROTTEN (Ensemble). Over the past two summers Nick worked with The Lexington Theatre Company in THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Ensemble), MEMPHIS (Ensemble), and FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Ensemble/Dance Captain). He was also Billy Crocker in Black Rock Theatre’s production of ANYTHING GOES in Connecticut. Nick is excited to make his Carnegie debut! Charlotte Campbell she/her Costume Designer
Charlotte is so pleased to be collaborating for the first time with the team at The Carnegie! She has worked as both a performer and costume designer at theatres around the country for the last decade. Most recently, she designed and built DISNEY’S THE LITTLE MERMAID (The Stephen Foster Story, Bardstown, KY) and SIX–HIGH SCHOOL EDITION (Divabee Productions, Fort Collins, CO) and appeared as Patsy Cline in ALWAYS, PATSY CLINE and Mrs. Cratchit in SCROOGE! THE MUSICAL (The Candlelight, Johnstown, CO.)
In addition to the dozens of shows she has costumed as a freelance designer, she has been the Head Costumer at The Stephen Foster Story since 2021 and served as the Costume Director at Market House Theatre in Paducah, KY on over 25 shows.

Julie Cowger she/her Lighting Designer
Julie Cowger recently moved to Cincinnati from Los Angeles, CA where she was on the Lighting team at the Geffen Playhouse. She is currently in charge of Lighting at The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati (TCT). She was previously in the Lighting Department at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park (CPIP) where she led and programmed in the Rouse Theatre. This included productions like FRIDA, A CHORUS LINE, SEVEN GUITARS, RING OF FIRE, SHANE, CLYDES, & A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Recent projects include THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, and TICK, TICK, BOOM! at The Carnegie where she is excited to remount Rocky in October 2025! She designs and teaches lighting with the Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati’s Academy LIVE! program. She co-designed and programmed Drew & Lea Lachey’s LABEL-LESS at CPIP and continues to help grow the production. Julie was the Associate Lighting Designer for TCT’s SANTA CLAUS THE MUSICAL in their final season at the Taft Theatre and is looking forward to becoming the Lighting Supervisor at the newly renovated Emery Theatre in 2025. Jessica Harris She/her Choreographer
Jessica Harris hails from Neptune, New Jersey where she has trained, taught, and choreographed in all styles of dance for over 25 years. Today her work can be seen in multiple NFL and NBA sports arenas all over the country. Harris has had the pleasure of choreographing
for the “Lachey Arts” musical theatre company, recording artists “JPOLND” and “7Hills Worship”. Harris is an adjunct professor of jazz and tap dance for 3 years at University of Cincinnati, Miami University of Ohio and Northern Kentucky University. Jessica Harris has received multiple awards and recognition for her work on the national and international level. Her hip hop choreography in 2018 won the gold medal at the World Dance Championships. Jessica also has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University where she was a 4 year member and captain of the nationally ranked Rutgers University Dance Team.
Currently, Jessica Harris can be found teaching classes and workshops all across the country. She has a passion for choreography, and is grateful for every opportunity to connect to others through meaningful movement.

Hannah Kate Hawver she/her Production Stage Manager
Hannah Kate is a senior stage management student at CCM. SEUSSICAL is her 10th production at CCM and her first collaboration with the Carnegie! Outside of CCM, Hannah Kate has worked for the Cincinnati Ballet, Flat Rock Playhouse, Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts, Gulfshore Playhouse, and Long Bay Theatre. @ccm_sm

Danielle Lobello She/Her/Hers Sound Designer
Danielle(Dani) Lobello is the Director of Production and Sound Designer for The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati. She was previously the Director of Production for the Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. She began her career as the Production Manager at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, IL where she developed and managed several IAAPA award-winning theme park shows and parades. Danielle received her B.A. in Theatre from Winona State University in Winona, MN.

Coty Perno He/Him Associate Choreographer
COTY PERNO is pumped to be back at the Carnegie after choreographing Queen City Cabaret’s, ‘PERFECTLY MARVELOUS ’! Rachel Stevens she/her Director

Her guiding purpose as an educator and mentor is to nurture brave and masterful craftspeople who unabashedly create from their authentic selves, collaborate from a place of trust, and lead with compassion. Tyler Gabbard, he/him (Producer, Scenic Designer) Tyler is the Producing Director of Theatre at The Carnegie, recognized as Cincinnati’s “Favorite Local Theatre” by the BroadwayWorld Cincinnati Awards and praised by The Sappy Critic as the city’s “go-to theater for musicals.” The League of Cincinnati Theatres declared, “Under its new Theatre Director, Tyler Gabbard, The Carnegie has soared to new heights, quickly becoming one of, if not the, top choice for theatregoers in Cincinnati.” Before joining The Carnegie, Tyler held administrative roles at The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati, the Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts at Pepperdine University, and the School of the Arts at Northern Kentucky University. He also served as Vice President of the League of Cincinnati Theatres. Tyler worked with Ms. Tina Knowles for three years as the VIP Manager for her annual Wearable Art Gala, and with artists including Stephen Sondheim, Patti LuPone, Jonathan Groff, Alec Baldwin, Alice Ripley, and Maggie Gyllenhaal as a production assistant. Tyler’s career began as the general management intern with Dodgers Theatricals, working on Broadway productions of MATILDA THE MUSICAL, JERSEY BOYS, and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. As a scenic designer, his work has been seen in New York City, Los Angeles, and over a dozen venues in Kentucky and Ohio, including more than 20 productions at The Carnegie. He earned the BroadwayWorld Cincinnati Award for Best Scenic Design for his work on THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and is an alumnus of the Emerging Leadership Institute of the Association of Performing Arts Professionals. His accolades include the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce’s Next Generation Leader Award, features in Movers & Makers’ Notables in Performing Arts, Queer Kentucky’s 25 Faces of Fairness, and Cincinnati Magazine’s Power 100 Rising Stars. Tyler resides in Bellevue with his husband, Jack Manion—an artist and educator—and their dog, Popsicle.

Doug Stock, he/him (Technical Director) Doug is in his fifth season at The Carnegie, where he has designed sets for LITTLE SHOP…, JOSEPH…, PROOF, AMERICAN IDIOT, DREAMGIRLS, and THE FULL MONTY in addition to overseeing tech for hundreds of concerts and rental events. Previously, he was Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati’s Assistant Technical Director and Master Carpenter. He was also the Technical Director and Scenic & Lighting Designer at Thomas Worthington High School, his Alma Mater. Graduate of UC-CCM.

Kyle Imbronyev he/him (Production Technician)
Kyle is thrilled to be joining The Carnegie! This is his first production and is excited to be a part of many more in the future. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Northern Kentucky University. After working both on stage and screen in Los Angeles, CA, he moved back to Cincinnati and became the Artistic Director for a local high school. Kyle would like to thank his friends and family for their constant support, especially his beautiful wife Ellen and their amazing daughter, Millie!
